Vitalii Pavlovych Buigashev, born on January 23, 1938, in Voroshylovhrad (now Luhansk) to a family of office workers.

Vitalii Pavlovych Buigashev, born on January 23, 1938, in Voroshylovhrad (now Luhansk) to a family of office workers.

From 1945, he was raised in an orphanage in Voroshylovhrad.

From 1946 to 1950, he was a resident of the Kyiv Orphanage for Talented Children.

From 1950 to 1955, he studied at a vocational school, specializing as a mechanic for industrial equipment repair.

In 1959, he entered Luhansk Art School and in the same year was drafted into the Soviet Army, where he served for 3.5 years.

In 1962, he continued his studies at Luhansk Art School. In 1967, he graduated from art school.

In 1967, he married Serikova Alla Borysivna.

In 1968, together with his wife Buigasheva Alla Borysivna, he entered the Kyiv Art Institute (now Academy) at the Faculty of Painting.

In 1971, their son Buigashev Serhii Vitaliiovych was born.

From 1971, he studied in the workshop of People’s Artist, Professor Tetiana Nylovna Yablonska at the Faculty of Monumental Painting.

In 1974, he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute and defended his diploma – a tapestry “Steelmakers”. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the Kyiv Monumental Art Combine.

In 1982, he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR.

From 1974 to 2009, he created monumental and painting works. He participated in republican and all-union exhibitions. He organized a tapestry section at the combine.

From 2009 to 2014, he created monumental works for Kyiv (Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs).

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

He had three personal exhibitions in 1998, 2008, and 2018.

In recent years, he worked on creative projects in his workshop on Pryrichna Street 5 and participated in republican exhibitions.

Passed away on November 1, 2023.
